OUR BRAND STORY
Mezcal Unión was born with the purpose of uniting. From day 1, we’ve believed that unity is strength and the path to spark change.
To unite means to gather farmers, producers, mezcaleros and more people in Mexico and around the world. This is why in 2008 we named our project “Unión” with the purpose of sharing that message with every bottle.
We knocked on the first door in 2011 and so our story began, knocking on more doors, sharing our mezcal utopia: as more people get to know mezcal, we will generate more opportunities for the communities that produce it. And that’s how we decided to tell our story ten, one-hundred, one-thousand times with the same passion as we did the first time.

OUR PURPOSE
From the very beginning, our purpose was to generate social development for Oaxacan local communities, preserving the tradition of artisanal production of mezcal.
Mezcal Unión catalyzes collaboration amongst every person and community involved in the process of agave farming and mezcal production.
We aim to exalt the name of Mexico, showing new ways to enjoy it, exploring its cities, streets and trying its food and drinks.
OUR MODEL
Through the spirit of unity and collaboration, we created a model that speaks for itself by the way we work with farmers and producers from different Oaxacan regions. We believe in decent jobs, fair trade and environmental responsibility.
Unión helps create better life conditions for the Oaxacan families whilst caring for the environment and preserving traditional mezcal production processes, positioning itself as one of the brands that has led the way to make mezcal one of the fastest growing categories around the world.
